Well I'm here to tell you that is definitively NOT true. 

I've been teaching yoga to lots of different people for the past 15 years, from college professors to National Geographic photographers and adventurers, to doctors and astrophysicists and rock climbers, to the track and field and soccer teams of major universities & I know that being more flexible will not make you happy.

Being strong & having a "yoga body" will not make you happy.

Being serene and calm will not make you happy.

Being ridiculously smart and at the top of your field as a surgeon or an astrophysicist or National Geographic photographer and adventurer will not make you happy.

Being true to YOU will. True to your beautiful, messy, perfectly imperfect self.

And I'm all about supporting you in taking care of your phenomenal sacred self.
