Part of yoga is the chakras and in The Path of Love we’ll explore the chakras from root to crown to come home to ourselves and each day to choose love, starting with the root chakra, grounding and coming home to ourselves with the changing of the seasons from summer to fall.
In The Path of Love using the chakras as our roadmap three days a week you’ll receive:
- a guided meditation
- a teaching
- a journal exercise
On Mondays you’ll also receive a breathing pause to practice throughout the week as a way to mindfully release tension, stress, and overwhelm and return to your center, to calm, clarity and compassion. Did you know that a breath with a longer and slower exhalation invites the parasympathetic nervous system to activate? When this happens, our heart rate slows and we release endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. We also release dopamine into our brain, which makes us feel happy.
On Wednesdays you’ll receive a slow & soulful yoga practice to come home to yourself, to surrender and heal and be deeply present. “Emotions become magnified when they’re repressed. It’s not always easy to identify where they come from, so we need to carve the time to (slow down) and really feel into them.” Gabrielle Hales
On Fridays you’ll receive a yoga nidra to rest, renew, and restore, letting go of the week and starting the weekend feeling relaxed and present.
